⏯️Basic usage

This section covers using the basic features of Quark

After you have logged in, Quark is set to use the cheapest and fasted language models we provide by default. This means you can jump straight in and play without worrying about further settings if you wish to keep things simple and as cheap as possible.

Right lets do our first message!

Simple chat request

to communicate with Quark you need to to start your message with /chat or the short version /c

Example: "/c Hello how are you today?"

Remember usage is charged in real time per message ouput.

Conversation length

Your conversation with quark will be maintained with full history and context until you decide to start a new conversation thread.

NOTE: long conversations will get progressively more expensive due to the context being passed to the AI with each message. Start a new chat regularly to keep your costs low if a long context is not needed.

Starting a new conversation

To start a new conversation with quark, use the command /newchat. This will erase the current chat you have with it and start a new one.

Use the power of reasoning

Quark has access to reasoning language models as well as standard models. The difference is Quark will think about and reason over its response to you. While slightly more expensive to use, reasoning can be engaged ant any point in a chat to use this capability.

Just use /r instead of /c - see example image
